I tried putting soup in it one day and had to wipe the edges of it multiple times throughout the day and carry it very carefully. This is great for snacks to get you through the day, and the utensils are fine but they take up too much space and aren’t worth it for me since I won’t be using this for lunches that require them.

If you learn the proper way to cook and pack a bento box, these can hold more than enough food for a great lunch. I usually pack mine with a rice dish in the bottom layer that I’ll top with something like beef or chicken, and then some side dishes like tamagoyaki and a small piece of baked or fried fish in the top two layers.The gasket isn’t the best fit however so don’t try to use these for soups.

Easy of use and opening:I use these boxes for lunch for my kindergartner. He sometimes needs a teacher’s help to open them, but he usually finds them easy to use. I have not had issues with them opening by themselves or spilling, but I do not send very wet food in those.Size:As you can see from my picture, I usually only use the bottom 2 compartments and put utensils in the top one. I also usually send an insulated thermos on the side with the warm food (in my example picture, I stacked the pizzas in the little thermos to keep them warm).Easy Care:I have been washing those in the dishwasher for the past 3months at least 2 a week each (I rotate the containers through the week). No issue with damaging the containers in the dishwasher.Durability:That is my one issue with those containers. As you can see from my picture, after 3 months of use, 2 of the containers lids are broken. The clear plastic part broke where the “clips” attach, making it impossible to fix / reattach the clips. This is the cutest bento box! I love that it has 3 compartments (one for breakfast, snack and lunch). The rubber seal comes off easily which is a good and bad thing (good bc it’s easy to clean and bad bc it falls out when trying to put the lid on). Looks nice. I put a veggie sushi roll in the bottom. A small spinach cherry tomato and black olive salad in the middle. I cut the spinach so it’s easier to eat and fit more in. In the top I put a whole pink lady apple and some blueberries. Put the utensils on top and voila! Only issue is you have to use really short containers for condiments. This makes my food look great and portion control ftw.

I never dropped it and my kid has no idea how it broke either (it goes in a thick padded lunchbox). Used it about 20 times. Wish the material was a little thicker so it would be more durable. I bought this because I’m a college student and I hate carrying a lunch box around with me, so I wanted something to keep my food in that would also fit in my school bag. I ended up just putting an ice pack in the middle section to keep it cool and it still has enough room in the other compartments for a good lunch! If you do use an ice pack like I do or pack lots of food in, definitely make sure it can snap completely shut because if there’s any gaps the condensation or any wetness will leak out of it. It’s really not bad otherwise but unless it has an ice pack or it’s in a cooled lunch box, it’s not really meant to keep food cold. It’s easy to clean and I love that it comes with utensils that double as chopsticks.

I love the idea of these, and love using them to pack kid (and grown up) lunches. I have one issue. These don’t snap together all that well, it takes a few minutes of effort and adjustment to get it all assembled after filling with food, and it only works with all of the components precisely in place— making it less custom configurable than I had hoped. Also, the divider is nice, but not leak proof, meaning that if you put in any kind of dip, dressing, etc. it can and will spill over into the rest of the compartment unless you keep the whole thing upright 100% of the time or use a very small Tupperware cup with a lid. Still, for the price, it was a good buy, and my kid is enjoying her bento lunches.

I’m very please with this Bento box. It has 3 containers. One container with a lid. 2 containers stack nicely on top of each other. I appreciate the clear lid & I really like that the silicone ring (from the clear) lid comes out to be cleaned & dried properly. This is by no means a leak proof/ spill proof container. The fork has a serrated side for cutting ( see picture) the spoon is pretty small and you can also use the other end for chopsticks. I have not put this in the microwave so I’m not sure how well it would hold up with heat. At the end of the day I’m happy with my purchase & I would recommend.

I bought these because of the shape. I bought 2 and after only 2 months the lid of one of them completely broke and the other is almost there too since it’s all cracked. I don’t use the dishwasher or super hot water not sure what happened with them. :(Oh and the ring that goes on the lid doesn’t stay. It’s annoying. I truly which they would have worked better i loved them

Alright, let me tell you something. Just buy it because this has made packing lunch easier and I don’t have to stuff 3 different containers in my lunch bag. It’s compact and it comes with a fork and a spoon AND the utensils can also be used as chopsticks. Best thing ever.

I needed smaller bento boxes to fit a specific space constraint. These are perfect! And enough space for the right amount of food for lunches in the car. They are smaller but thats what I needed. The only complaint are the utensils. They look like baby food utensils, very small!!! The fork prongs would never spear anything, they are too fat and flat. And there is nowhere to clip them, on the outside or under the lid. They came in the top compartment, where they fit fine, but where do you put them when food is in there!? Design flaw and a bummer (4+☆). So, I won’t be using them at all. I’ll pack my own sets and put them somewhere. But we love them on road trips and use them a lot. Seal well and dont leak.

I love these and take them on-the-go with me all the time. Only thing to note is that they will warp in the microwave and that makes it kind of hard to close/store. I only made the mistake once but it’s not going to go back to normal, so I have the other two to reply on for the most part. Other than that, it’s great to pack a lunch with and pre-portion/organize your foods. I would recommend!

I bought the 3 pack and am so happy!!! These little bento boxes are perfect for meal prep for work and help me with portion control. They hold a significant amount of food and I always pack rice for lunch so the bottom part is perfect for that, I would say the bottom part holds maybe a cup and a half of rice which is perfect for me and I always have more than enough for lunch. They stay sealed and do not leak, I’m definitely going to buy 2 more so I have a full 5 for work!

We always get comments on how cool our lunch boxes are. I bought 6 of these. I only give 4 stars because they have these grooves inside that can be a pain to get clean. But other than that they have held up great for quite some time now and they are different so the kids feel cool 😂

These are great little lunch boxes. They pack neatly, don’t take up much space, and hold just the right amount of food for me. They are a little narrower than I expected but they work for what I need. Don’t run them through the dishwasher. The lid of one of them partially melted and bent so badly that it can’t be used. The sides of the bottom compartment start to bow inward a little so it can be tricky to get it all to snap into place. But overall I like these. Might buy again if I don’t find anything better.

Now the locking clips on the side hang down too low to lock. I thought I was losing my mind, but I see other reviews mentioning the same thing. Not sure how it happened – I never microwaved it and onlyhand wash, but the clips just hang loosely. It’s REALLY dissapointing because I could place this in my bag to take with me, but now everything would just fall out. I feel like it was ultimately a huge waste of money since it’s now basically unusable for the purpose I purchased it for. A lot of people seem to not have issues, but buy at your own risk.Update – I’ve updated this to five stars. The issue with the lid not fitting turned out to be 100% user error. There is a rubber seal that fits into the lid that was removed when another member of the household was doing dishes. Once it was re-inserted, the lid fit and continues to fit perfectly. I’ve never packed my lunch on such a continuous basis before now – this thing is great! Considering purchasing one for my kiddo for their school lunches!

I like this bento box set, some friends and I split the cost so each of us could have a new lunch box, but I wouldn’t recommend this for any more than just snacks. I tried putting soup in it one day and had to wipe the edges of it multiple times throughout the day and carry it very carefully. This is great for snacks to get you through the day, and the utensils are fine but they take up too much space and aren’t worth it for me since I won’t be using this for lunches that require them.

Do not put these in a dishwasher as the silicon seals will start to warp and not seal. Other than that, these work really well.

Since I got them I haven’t used my other bentos. They look small, but can fit a lot of food. They do leak though, I wouldn’t recommend it for anything that’s non solid like soup, yogurt or overnight oats, etcIt does says dishwasher safe but I noticed that after putting them in the top rack of the dishwasher they kinda lost the shape a little, definitely handwash is better

If you learn the proper way to cook and pack a bento box, these can hold more than enough food for a great lunch. I usually pack mine with a rice dish in the bottom layer that I’ll top with something like beef or chicken, and then some side dishes like tamagoyaki and a small piece of baked or fried fish in the top two layers.The gasket isn’t the best fit however so don’t try to use these for soups.

These are fantastic to pack a healthier lunch in! Wish the top two were a little deeper, but it works. You might have to 1/2 a larger strawberry or sweet pepper to give you an idea of the depth of the top 2 trays. The bottom is much better. I’ve never put anything with a lot of liquid to test the leak proof aspect, but I doubt it’d be a good seal without rubber in all the cracks. Snap is a little hard to get it to close, but it stays put after I fasten it.

Easy of use and opening:I use these boxes for lunch for my kindergartner. He sometimes needs a teacher’s help to open them, but he usually finds them easy to use. I have not had issues with them opening by themselves or spilling, but I do not send very wet food in those.Size:As you can see from my picture, I usually only use the bottom 2 compartments and put utensils in the top one. I also usually send an insulated thermos on the side with the warm food (in my example picture, I stacked the pizzas in the little thermos to keep them warm).Easy Care:I have been washing those in the dishwasher for the past 3months at least 2 a week each (I rotate the containers through the week). No issue with damaging the containers in the dishwasher.Durability:That is my one issue with those containers. As you can see from my picture, after 3 months of use, 2 of the containers lids are broken. The clear plastic part broke where the “clips” attach, making it impossible to fix / reattach the clips. I was hoping to get a year use out of these, but find myself looking for new containers. Overall, I am still happy with my purchase and will reorder these.

What I like about the Bento box is that mostly all of my food fits in there but if your looking for one that is leak proof this isn’t it. But if your looking for one that would fit in your lunch box this is the bento box you need.
